These people claim that ai art programms are of no skill when it is programmers who have an incredible mastery of mathemathics (the logic that our universe's existence is dependant on) made it possible to create a workspace that supplements your lack of genes making it possible for you to draw a line well. Like, how godly is it to decipher the world so thoroughly that you can use its building blocks like a deity and create a space providing others with an incredible ability to do something only some are lukcky to be born with?
It literally is a digital workbench that, as a new technology still primitve, makes you equal to them. (it undermines their monopoly, their power, they're scared)
Imagine someone of foreign background captures you. You are shipped god knows where and you don't know the language. Everyone around you treats you as if you were a retard making some unga bunga noises. We can technically say that you're mute, you don't speak because you don't communicate. Artist don't recognize that they themselves objectify and dehumanize themselves to the role of a tool when they make art for writers? Isn't that struggle alone something that adds the history to the image made by the programm? History and context that is so neccessery for art to be art?
Have you considered how many time you used the go back function? Or layers?
How much paper would you have used, and how much money would you have used, how much actually would you put out for sale or make part of your portfolio if not the comfort to choose what move you want to leave; what move you indentify with and accept as an representation of what you did?!
Same way I choose what words I should put into the "prompt" label and which picture I like and want to describe myself through???
