Maybe we could actually have UBI if the government stopped funding all this linear entertainment and took it outta society then that would solve the homeless issue and world hunger but people are too bitter to accept that because they gotta wageslave for a higher better pay while others are LDARing with just enough to stay alive yet they see no issues with millionaires and billionaires doing the same thing there’s more than enough money and resources for UBI to work

UBI is pointless tbh.
Modern humans are already living a hyper hedonistic pig-like way of life with much free time in their life that they start to losing a meaning in their lifes, just imagine how disastrous would be a full goverment implemented UBI. We will literally become souless bugs with no purpose of life at all. Humans would be in a full state of apathy and society would be governed by technocrats, machines and big tech corps. That sounds very dystopic to me tbh

Never gonna work in a capitalist society sadly. You're neglecting the human element. Greedy land lords and businesses will hike prices to take advantage/maximize profits. Same thing with min wage. 5 more dollars/hr for twice the price of housing and goods. It'd have to be a command economy or an entirely novel system for it to work and that's asking for trouble I think.
