I really liked Samurai Jack.
I liked Looney Toons, Tom and Jerry, Hi Man, Ninja Turtles, Ren and Stimpy, Leo the lion, South Park, SpongeBob, Paw Patrol, and many more, I forgot many that I liked as a kid.

My favorite cartoons growing up were The Simpsons (prior to season 12), Extreme Ghostbusters, Spongebob Squarepants. I still watch all of them today, substituting Futurama for The Simpsons.

Ed/edd/eddy had the gross sisters plus one of the eds had a little sister, the show was somewhat watchable if I fast-forwarded to just the moments they appear in, but it's not often enough.
I just don't conceive how in the pre-PVR age when you couldn't FF how people managed to watch all that stuff.
I really think it's something you can only get into as a kid when that's literally all that's on and you lacked PVRs and had to rot w/ whatever was in front of yo.
E/E/E is not a bad show, there's some neat animation I can respect, I just find the style of drawing and voicing so repulsive I can't last it out to appreciate it.
Kinda like Ren and Stimpy tbh. I recognize the quality it brings but the aesthetics are just too rough for me
I have no love for ed edd edddy. Never liked it even as a kid. Courage has an absurdist artstyle too but I lived that shit. Its one of the few cartoons one could still enjoy as a grown up

I think that's your main problem
because ch is not easily adaptable to movies and they're most likely shit
real ch is not comprehendable for a human
definitely not a bunch of cartoon monsters falling out of the sky and having earthly motives (low IQ)
forces you to rethink your outlook on reality and expand your imagination
also I can identify with the character willing to discover hidden truth about the world, studying the occult, changing after knowing his ancestors-every man wants to know his roots
the man often gets disappointed though and in these stories becomes insane
