What even is Palestine? The people there are practically stateless. As long as that mess persists, Hamas, or groups like it, will persist and will be able to recruit frustrated Palestinians. The only solution is one state where there's either some power sharing situation, or ethnic cleansing. Until then, neither side will have peace. There's no instance of the colonizers living peacefully with the colonized unless the latter is subjugated. They should have just built Israel in Oceania, South America, or Africa.
