imo I would have done law or finance over being a code monkey nigger who looks at a fucking screen like 12-15 hours a day. Fucking hate this shit. Boring as fuck. While lawyers get more bragworthy job, wear bragworthy suit, get to meet with clients etc. Same with finance especially investment banker and merger/acquisition specialists. Meet rich fuckers and broker deals between other rich fuckers. Very brag Worthy and far more fun than my code monkey shit guaranteed. FUCK STEM! STEM = shitty trucel evil major.

I wouldn't survive law school anyways

Holy shit I would've jumped on computer science. Biggest fucking mistake in life.

I want to be a code monkey. Is it really that bad? :feelswhat:

the only thing I would be able to survive is STEM

STEM is soul crushing and the field is so desperate for talent that you can be autist and still get a job as long as you can somehow work in a team.

I did anthropology and never finished.

I actually really enjoyed my course but... life stuff got in the way. It's a shame I know. I did try going back years later but I wasn't in the right place in my life anymore.

(sorry for being so vague!)

But yeah if I could go back I'd do something with higher earning potential like IT or web dev.

If I really wanted to see more of the world or learn about it I could have just travelled or done it in my spare time.

If you do boring work yes. You need to grind the interview prep hard and get a good company with good pay work life balance. Then it is tolerable but still boring. Most tech work is boring work

Only the non boring shit like Tesla/blue origin rocket ship shit, is less boring. But harder to get into and often more work for less pay. There are some companies that have good interesting work, good pay for the work, but are hard to get into (self driving compania, certain startups).

if you did math, you could still swap over via masters or even without masters probably

just drop out if you do a useless major as incel

I could've swapped, my degree was relevent, but I'm too old now:feelsrope::feelsrope:

And masters would put me on student loans cuz broke:feelsrope:

absolutely not the case for many entry level STEM. the demand is meme exaggeration. It exists for experienced folk for sure but even then for higher paying companies you still need to be able to bullshit somewhat although less so than most other fields.

it still relies on looks - altthough much less than other fields except medicine

If I could go back and redo my college and correct my mistakes I wouldn't even complain about inceldom or browse incel forums. Even if I was still virgin at my age

FML I'm doing CS right now and hate it, I'm still first year so I can change it if I want but idk
well if you hate all majors and jobs. then yeah might as well do CS. be sure to grind leetcode, have tip top projects and ideally 1-3 internships before you graduate if you want the good paying 150,000-250,000 jobs right out of college.

law school is easier than STEM, yes more memorization probably but the concepts and the work itself is easier probably

easier haha you need straight As in social studies to survive law school. WHICH I DON'T

@Transcended Trucel Cant you open your own business? I mean you code all day so obviously you know the business structure and product of the white man who employs you. Just copy and paste it and work for self theory?

Law school is hell on earth you wil have no life for a couple more years and have to NEET while in law school. You also have to spend your prime studying law as well as not getting paid much at first IF you even pass the Bar exam which many people never even pass in their lifetime. All of this happening while you waste the best years of your life for a very slim chance that you will make it if you don’t study almost 24/7

I should have majored in Computer Science. I got a BA in English like a grade-A retard. I'm still doing ok for myself, but I'm confident I'd be making double what I am now in software.

most business owners earn less than high level corporate jobs and most fail. I will consider doing that after I have a good company(google/fuckbook etc.) and then attempt to consider scamming venture capitalist investors(they trust a person from top tier tech companies more). Come up with some bs idea or take some already done concept and modify it a bit and bs investors. See wework scamming softbank. Guy literally just took normal real estate business idea and scammed retarded investors and farmed $500 million jfl. And to this day the company loses hundreds of millions yearly.

I might have just opted out altogether. Real skill is self taught. Spending 4 or more years around college foids that hate and ignore you is also cucked. That's 4 years worth of copecoin that could have been minted.

So, you grind leetcode for 4 hours daily? Isn't that what you need for every company?

BTW if I want to side-step being a code monkey (I.e. Work as a cloud engineer or something), do I still need to grind?

Holy shit if I could go back I could rack 200k in Cali by now

yes but less grind for other roles and different type of grind. maybe grind AWS or azure cert for cloud engineer

beyond ogre. best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago, next best time is now

Those certs are a lot easier than LC. I've already started on the path for AWS certs, will start with Azure once I'm satisfied with them.

But what I do for LC? I believe I still need to slove LC medium and hard even for positions in the cloud. An idea could be to shift from companies into "IT" as an industry, to something else, like finance or pharmaceutical. Perhaps they will torture me less (working at a tech company is autistic there's no doubt about it)

yeah sadly all the good paying tech jobs mostly need LC. Look into Product management at big tech. you can still get 200-300k without LC type interview. It is decent alternative

If i understood you correctly what is happening is that you as an incel are upset because chads and stacies get the nice comfy positions in corporations. To compete you have to be 10X faster, harder, intelligent, experienced.

Now when chad and stacy still beat you to the finish because they are actually not more intelligent it is just that they have been very well prepared from day 1 due to white chad/stacy privilege as opossed to you an ethnic incel who is never given the tasks that allow you to gain the necessary work experiuence to rise in the corporate ladder. Now you complaining as an incel but refuse to create your own reality and opt to continue in the hamster wheel of the rat race hoping oh sorry i meant coping for a job/promotion that means a rise on the corporate ladder which as every incel knows is reserved for chad and stacy ?

Just my 2 cents.Do what ever you want, just saying though ok luv ya.

corporate ladder in tech at the moment actually has far fewer Chad Stacies compared to law/finance/medicine. It is mostly pajeets/chinks and white nerds at the top of most of the tech companies at the moment. So looks are not much of a barrier here unlike most fields as much.
