whats their y-dna marker? haplogroup R1?
Even if they have y-dna haplogroup R1 marker, all of those thousands of years of mixing with dravidians made them look like that today.
Years ago I browsed this genetics forum where a russian dude posted his y-dna results and photos of himself. His marker was haplogroup O3d which is what 77-90% of non-han Chinese men have. He surmised that his great great ancestor was a man from one of the non-han chinese tribes that got incorporated into the Mongol army and he went alongside them all the way to Russia. Anyways he looked pretty damn Russian except for the slightly wider head and stockier build. You could slightly see some of the mongoloid chinese characteristics of him but most of it was bred out.
Its kinda like how some white americans have native american DNA but most of it is bred out by now. But if you look close enough, you can sort of see the native DNA in some white americans who claim to have native DNA and kept records of their family.
