I don't say it on here enough but I run even more than I drink. I'm up to 60K a week and I highly recommend it. Once you've tuned your body up to it, it feels bad if you DON'T run.
The key factors for me are top quality running shoes and a good playlist/earbuds.
The runner's high is very real. And partly that does frankly involve finally mogging other people for once (in terms of fitness and BMI); it is an amazing feeling, as you blast past normies at top speed. It really is.
