Why the fuck your employer would do that and why would you even let him do that. I've never heard of that. If you use bong and clean it often then there's virtually no smell whatsoever.
it's very, very common. the company i work at doesn't fire people for showing up intoxicated though, they just force you to attend therapy.
one time I got black out drunk, went to bed at 3 am after puking all over my room, i got up and went to work at 10 (arrived one hour late) the security guard pulled me to a side and said i had to take the test in the doctors office. they made me breathe into a tube and I passed lol but the doctor could tell I was hangover and he told me to stop doing it so from then on I only drink on weekends

tech support for a construction firm, they get a lot of contracts from the government to work on roads and such so they have to make all their employees take the tests. i'd rather not say where i'm from.
they let me work from home now so I don't have to worry as much but 1 or 2 times a year they make go take the tests. blood and piss

it can be relaxing sometimes. people usually call me when their ms outlook isnt working or when they can't figure out how to open a zip file.
one time i helped someone open a broken excel file and he mailed me a box of chocolates. but sometimes i get 10+ calls in an hour and it really stresses me out
