I have a long history of walking through pitch black woods at night.

Pitch black wouldn't be pleasant because my imagination could make me paranoid, but I would feel safe knowing nothing can get in the elevator.

Being closed in wouldn't bother me much but tight places freak me out, even seeing on the TV tight cracks or crawls spaces makes me feel anxiety and my skin crawling.

Might be better than just sitting there.

Knowing my luck, I'd suddenly need to take a nasty shit.

Just sit there, I'd try to call for help, There's usually a button for that, It wouldn't be that hard to find in the dark. This is assuming it wouldn't work though. One night wouldn't be that bad, I'd have to pee in there and be careful not to accidentally sit in it.
