On the current path electricity and home heating natural gas will be things only affordable by the rich in Europe. Something like a hot shower will be above their family's station in life for half of Europeans. For middle class and upper middle class, a short hot shower would be something they could afford once in awhile.

Meanwhile their government leaders and aristocracy families will enjoy luxury of steam saunas, hot tubs and so on.
