Dogs are too much effort, I've had 2 dogs. A papillon and a Belgian Malinois. Imo they're not worth it.
You'll still experience loneliness even if you have 30 pets, they can't compensate for real human connection.

Cat's are better, very underrated. Treat a cat right when they're a kitten and by the time it's grown, it's gonna wanna be around you all the time. I miss my cat.
