More golden nuggets from Flow: The Psychology of Optimal Experience by [UWSL]Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi[/UWSL]
"Most people feel a nearly intolerable sense of emptiness when they are
alone, especially with nothing specific to do. Adolescents, adults, and old
people all report that their worst experiences have taken place in solitude..."
"We need external goals, external stimulation, external feedback to keep attention
directed. And when external input is lacking, attention begins to wander,
and thoughts become chaotic—resulting in the state we have called
“psychic entropy”..."
"The person ignored grows gradually depressed, and soon begins to doubt his or her very exist-
ence. In some societies the final outcome of being ostracized is death: the
person who is left alone comes to accept the fact that he must be already
dead, since no one pays attention to him any longer..."
"At the same time, paradoxically, there is a long tradition of wisdom
warning us that “Hell is other people.” The Hindu sage and the Christian
hermit sought peace away from the madding crowd. And when we examine
the most negative experiences in the life of average people..."
"...we depend so much on the
affection and approval of others, we are extremely vulnerable to how we
are treated by them."
Excerpts are from the Chapter 8 of the book, slightly out of order.
What's your stance on this? Do you truly prefer total solitude or some interaction with animalistic scumbags?:fuk:
Because I don't know what I want until I'm not allowed to have it.

Im too used to being lonely, the damage is already done. :feelsrope:

Interaction is a positive experience in general if you are :chad:.
I do have some good friends that I enjoy talking to sometimes, but generally interacting with people is shit.

That's not a paradox but a vicious circle.

Im not very social and being around alot of people is mostly tiresome. Talking to people occasionally does make me feel better and i have a feeling like something meaningful happened.

This i noticed long time ago, people feel lost and worthless without a goal and instructions. People dont want to be free, they are happiest when they live by directives from the authority and bear no responsibility.

I like Paradox games

The Hindu sage and the Christian hermit were both fags. Life is amazing and great when you are good looking and sucks giant cock when you are an ugly male. Its that simple. Sure you can make the argument "wEll LiFe SuCKs foR eVeryOne" which is true but it is worse for us. Everyone feels lonely but mostly for the wrong reasons. We are truly alone which is different in that we physically have no one near us. Stacy may feel lonely but she is always surrounded by a harem of chad cock thus never alone.

a lot is true. but all my worst eperiences are NOT in solitude. an its all stems from my face

sorry to hear that. and fk boomers. My theory the covid jab actually works better for people above 55 -60 . those under the age end up dead or injured. everything is headed by boomers. more young people means more crimes, and young ones dont have money, boomers are priority to be protected. boomers pay for porn.

you have to stick to the tribe if you want to survive, its a biological impulse you can't just nudge off like that.
