South Korea's population will decrease from 51.74 million to 15.63 million by the end of the century. Since birth rates are basically zero the majority of the remaining 15.63 million will also be old unemployed geriatric fucks who act as parasites to the few remaining young people as they desperately attempt to keep the economy and military from collapsing
In comparison North Korea's population is 25.97 million and their population and economy is projected to remain relatively stable while South Korea is literally decades away from imploding on itself. As a result it is only a matter of time before North Korea invades and annexes the south. The only thing SK has left is American military support but that didn't stop Russia from attacking Ukraine or Hamas from attacking Israel
