Good looking guys are getting a lot female attention during school years while still living and depending on their parents. No matter how the soys deny the importance on looks, they know that unattractive males cannot just 'slay' purely on looks. Unattractive males need to compensate for their lack of looks with something ( working - accumulating resources, being pro-social, having passion in life which translates into societal respect etc ). . Not for their personality.
Again, soys know that there are many good-looking assholes with abusive, dominant, narcissistic personalities who treat women like objects and still get laid. But they know that we cannot act in such a manner because we lack good looks and dominant masculine presense. Personality is irrelevant here.
