When I was younger I saw a few videos online of public approaches and thought I should try it too.

I was at laser tag with my friend and I saw a foid and her friend and I wanted to try approach one of the foids during the game, do not ask me why I thought this was a good idea, I suppose the darkness of the environment and the lights made it less daunting similar to a nightclub atmosphere.

So I went up to the foid and placed my hand on her shoulder, again the atmosphere must have given me increased confidence. Worst part about doing this is she literally heightmogged me by a few inches, then I said something to the effect of. "I just had to come up and tell you, you look really beautiful."
The foid or her friend did not even say anything they both just walked away

I am not sure being non NT is in my family and I think I was a little non NT and bad at socialising as a kid but now I think I developed the self awareness to pull myself out of that

This is brutal and sad at the same time. Sure, it could have gone much worse for you, but them just ignoring you like you're invisible is a terrible feeling. They are basically saying you are less than a maggot to them, not worthy of even acknowledging your presence. She could say something like "thank you" and then give you some excuse as to why she doesn't want to go on a date with you, but straight-up ignoring you? Very sad.

I experienced all kinds of rejections. The silent treatment is only bad if it happens more often. Getting screamed at is really bad, because then the whiteknights are alerted and in the worst case scenario, you could get metoo’d. I used to approach bitches, but stopped after the metoo fiasco.
