I was reading that in the middle ages the Jews would give the muslims in Spain critical information about the cities and defences points of the white christians. When the muslims arrived the Jews were waiting and opened the city gates and let the muslims in to conquer the cities.

Yeah true. I remember at school our physics teacher showed us two lines of a different in shape. He asked which one is longer? All the students said the first, he then said prove it and measure the 2 lines, and behold they were actually the same length.
