My condolences for your problems.

Fwiw i know lots of people that go to doctors for all kinds of shit and ALWAYS end up worse.

I know idiots that get flu shots and always get the flu!

Broken bones and sutures are the only things they are good for!

Even then, you have to beware!

I know a dude wanted his thumb sewn back on. (Saw accident) He came out with knee surgery too! (He complained about his knee hurting while he was there...) Now he's a cripple, BUT, he isn't crippled enough to get disability insurance or social security payments! So, eventually he will be paying with his inherited land! (All because he was too stupid to keep his mouth shut...)

Anyway, there are cures to various incurable problems but they require diet changes and strong willpower as well as knowledge of herbs and alternative remedies.

True, this board is generally too young to understand the degree of the ineptitude of the medical industry. Outside of broken bones like you said, they've been not only useless but harmful in my case. It is improving but i'm already fucked for life...

In my case i needed neck surgery for partial paralysis. (Pinched nerve) With a 40% chance of becoming a quadriplegic! I know another dude that did ok on it... But i refused it. (Didn't feel lucky) Several decades later i found out about DMSO a horse/ veterinary medicine that repairs nerve damage... Illegal for human use! Now i don't have the partial paralysis any more! It took a half gallon and about 6 months and cost about @40 total. Tastes fucking horrible!

Of course with age comes other health problems... But at least pharmaceutical drug side effects isn't one of them.

That sounds pretty gnarly, terrible decision to have to make, not sure what i'd have done. I'll never trust the medical industry as long as I live, too many bad experiences. At least nowadays, there is information online, so you can do your own research.

For the longest time i was an alcoholic for the pain instead of pain pills. At least i didn't have to BEG for a refil all the time! That shit got old quick! Plus most of the shit didn't help! The stuff that did help was the most controled stuff. So fuck it.

Now i feel better since I'm used to the pain it's less. Plus the dmso took a lot of it away. Now it obtuse pain instead of acute pain.

Unfortunately, nothing is fast of a relief! I figure thats ok, since the problems also didn't happen over night either...
