I think they mostly want to ban tiktok in order to reduce anti-war sentiment. Also banning tiktok would only make google and meta more powerful. Having said that, tiktok is by far the most female friendly app demo, and also it's just a fucking stupid app that rots our minds worse than porn. The comments sections/algos in youtube are generally more right-leaning (though far more neolib than a rumble).
