Erdogan is praying the inflation comes down from 73%. Because they have to keep printing money to payoff all the millions of corrupt Turkish government officials. But in a shitty corrupt country there isn't free markets where corporations can respond to higher demand by increasing supply. Because corrupt super rich families hold monopoly and oligopoly permits, licenses and quotas for production in most areas of the economy. And those same families have great political power and are supporters of the regime.

Turks aren't smart enough and nowhere remotely honest enough to have a planned economy like this.
