Ded srs I remember playing UFC videogames and watching some of the highlights like 12 years ago when it still wasn't so popular and it was fun. But then people like McGregor arrived and the company became normiefied with too much drama and hype as if it was fucking WWE with the trash talk, rivalries, promotions, etc. I bet the only unscripted thing are the fights, the rest is just like wrestling were they just play a character and then they all get along well outside of the camera.

Dana White being a Vince McMahon wannabe and saying the dumbest shit on social media to be relevant. Celebrities and pornstars being invited to main events or UFC related stuff (mostly podcasts) to get more viewers just by appearing there and giving their dumb opinions.

Lately in Spain because Topuria won all the Spanish normies have suddenly gotten into UFC because Topuria is Spanish-Georgian and if Spanish athlete wins Spanish normie becomes a fan of such sport. That's how simple they are.
