News [URGENT, updated] Nigerien Special Forces ambushed by EIGS (ISGS) criminals in Takanamat, Niger
In 29 September, a Nigerien Army camp was overrun by ISGS. The barracks were located close to the tri-border area (Northwestern Niger).
UPDATE: Apparently it was a major attack as the ambushed army convoy consisted of dozens of vehicles. Army sent reinforcements in order to search for survivors.
