One of the first acts by radical feminists was to raise the age in which a young woman is enabled to consent. It stems from the view that young women are exploited and manipulated by older men.
Now that the age of consent is 18 almost everywhere, one would expect feminists and their descendants to remain quiet about it, except they are not.
What I mean by descendants is people that hold feminist-derived views often without knowing where they came from. The idea that young women are unable to consent primarily comes from radical feminists whose toxic view towards men had an enormous impact on their ideology. In this sense, to combat agecuckolds is to resist feminism and its agenda.
Puritanism counts. The Anglosphere is plagued by the Protestant culture that romanticizes youngsters. This culture delayed maturation. A young woman at the age of 16 or so would have a spouse and be expected to conceive some children for the sake of society. Now, she is perceived as nothing but a kid. Worse: even women over 20 are perceived that way.
