Balkanization was the first thing that came to my mind too. Red states and blue states are no longer just figures of speech and there's getting to be real differences between them in terms of policies on social issues like abortion, healthcare, and funding for research at universities.
I think it’s also about time to finally free Canada from British rule and join the path of Freedom and Democracy.
