Both sides love to fear monger (especially left) but nothing will significantly change. Not only will Republican senate just shut down anything Democrats try to push through, the simple reality is that both parties are neoliberal and they need those fear mongering talking points to attract their bases to vote. As of culture it will continue spiraling down into dystopian levels because of ruthless capitalism, not because of their presidents which are basically just mascots on the surface of swamp.
