She wants to restrict AI development and freedom of speech on the internet because of a couple photos, because of her selfish wants. You're not entitled to your likeness, sweatie. It can and may be used—whether you like it or not—in ways that you do not want yourself to be portrayed. I don't understand what difference these AI photos have with Photoshopped photos. What's the difference if I use an image editing software and slap your face on some nude hoe and make it look realistic? AI is just making it easier for the average man to do that. I will reiterate my point: When you put your likeness out there on the internet, anyone can use that however they like, and in no way can you boss people around because you don't like what you're seeing and because you feel like it. Deal with it and move with the times.

Atrioc, the male streamer who caused the controversy by revealing a browser tab with a deepfake pornography site featuring various female streamers, even went so far as to pay 100k of his own money to take the pictures down.
During a live stream on January 30, 2023, Ewing accidentally revealed a browser tab with a pornographic website selling deepfakes of other live streamers, including Pokimane and QTCinderella.[19][20][21] In response to the controversy, Ewing apologized and resigned from Offbrand.[22] QTCinderella described her friendship with him as irreparable following the incident.[23][24] In the following months, Ewing spent more than USD$100,000[25] to take down other deepfake porn images across the internet, working with QTCinderella, among others.[26][27] According to independent analyst Genevieve Oh, web traffic for deepfake pornography exploded after the incident.[28] Following the events, Ewing, with the help of Genevieve Oh, started writing a piece that he hopes to publish with BBC.[29]

This whole situation was hilarious. Her streamer friend that I think she lived with or something got caught looking at deepfake porn of other streamers, and she got invoked too cause she found out there was some of her as well

I just discovered this today. How did I miss all these things from 2023? Like, I thought the AI girlfriends thing was from 2024 but turns out it started last year. 2024 is gonna be a crazy year, man.

Once deepfakes become realistic enough that we can actually start slandering people with fake news, then yeah that's the line. But there must be a line. You can't cry foul at any and all pornographic representations of a person.

Would this here be a violation of anything? It's a picture of Taylor Swift. Would you even know it was if I didn't tell you?

No, I don't think this would break any laws. Because the issue here is "Can you impersonate someone with this?" Not with this. And not with much, yet.

Senpai!!!!! :feelsgah::feelsgah::feelsgah::feelsgah::feelsgah:

Yeah, that would be considered defamation.

According to § 39-16-301 of the Tennessee Code (Tennessee is the state where Taylor Swift lives currently):
(a) A person commits criminal impersonation who, with intent to injure or defraud another person:

(1) Assumes a false identity;

(2) Pretends to be a representative of some person or organization;

(3) Pretends to be an officer or employee of the government; or

(4) Pretends to have a handicap or disability.
What does "injur[ing] [...] another person" even mean? That's really vague. You can say that spreading pornographic pictures of someone is injurious to that person, so where is the line drawn? I'm really struggling to understand US law with how everything is written.

How is the AI photos any different than just drawing nude photos of her? Do these people not realize there's always been nude celebrity drawings for years now? Why aren't they attacking them?
