For individuals making 50-60k here in the sf bay area, you are considered poor. Not in dire poverty making 18k to 33k a year. But you aren't living all that comfortably on 50-60k a year.

77k to 88k and thats like middle ground income but getting up there.

112k+ and you're considered around the top 15% of earners.
