I’ve been thinking of joining, only because the sense of brotherhood and bond you get isn’t like anything else. I’m well aware of what to expect since I’ve been to military school. If I join it’s going to be after this corona stuff died down though.

Imagine risking your life for Israel.

quick postmaxx

Join if it helps, I don't blame anyone for making the decision if they're desperate enough.

I made an ingenious plan to escape mandatory draft in my country. at the intake i lied about being bipolar. they demanded proof from my doctor. i went to my gp and told him i think im bipolar and that i wish to see a psyciatrist to get a diagnosis. wait time for a psyciatrists appointment is 3 months here (socialist shithole country). i then asked my gp to write me a document that confirmed im in progress for a diagnosis of bipolar disorder. i sent the military the paper and recieved an official denial of entry a few weeks later. i cancelled my psychiatrists appointment.

this is some of the smartest things ive ever done.

Real smart tbh, I’ve heard stories of people from North Korea trying to get out of military service

Depends on what you are doing inside there. Not every military position is COD:MW. A lot of ppl in there are jus like anyone looking for a paycheck

You get paid very little in enlistment service. It’s not even worth enlisting and risking your life unless you want more than a paycheck.
Also I know about the military, as I’ve said I was in military school, I know that you have an mos and you may be able to choose your MOS depending on your ASVAB/AFQT score. I don’t thirst to go on the battlefield with a rifle and shoot, I’m ok with peeling potatoes.

True. I see. One thing I dislike is there is a large amount of whiteknight/tradcucks in there.

I almost wanted to join for a career(in a low rank position of cos) but decided not to.

Idk ur situation but if you really have no other options in the civilian world, this might be your best bet.(imo)

Well if this forum is still alive in 6 years and I never posted since 2021 best assume I’m dead

What is your education level? If you're college educated, apply as an officer only, never as an NCO. If you're not, then use the military to pay for your education, then look to get your officer's commission.

Also, pick an occupation whose skills are civilian sector transferable, like mechanic or computer technician. Try to perform your physical and combat test with just the bare minimum. Leave the high marksmanship and assault course scores for the front line combat specialists and athletes who will most likely get blown up by some random IED in the Middle East or Africa.

Your goal should be to stay away from operational theatres as much as possible. The order of military branch preference should be navy>air force>army.

im curry and im an australian citizen so no waay im going to cuck military

I’m in college, everyone in my family wants me to join ROTC. I wouldn’t enlist until Ive completed college, although in ROTC there are a bunch of entitled ass hats and foids.

I’m probably going to end up going the officer route, but honestly I’ll regret not getting as much experience as those enlisted.

Experience in what, shining shoes and getting yelled at? Going the officer route is best in the long term.

iktf. i am thinking about the same thing but i know i wont fit in with the other people, but i'll do it out of desperation to escape my NEETdom and make friends (prob megacope). i want to join as a truck driver as i think it's the most incel/loner friendly path in the military and they always advertise it. i feel there's gonna be a lot of high tier normies and chads and so on there though but that's reality. i also want it to earn respect of people too but probably won't. just an added bonus though.

Enjoy your time there.

In the military there’s a lot of people from broken paths in life, it makes for the best fighters.

i didn't think about it like that tbh
you might be right, i'd say many of the people in it might be similar to me, desperate young men trying to find a community, a bond and so on. social rejects trying to find some form of normality and acceptance.

The people who make the best fighters are the ones who have the strongest convictions and the most to live for. If you have nothing to die for, you have nothing to live for. If you have a child, for example, the mere thought of your child being attacked by the enemy can make you fight like a whirlwind. The army just takes that kind of rage and tempers it with training.

This is why patriotism is drilled into soldiers. There's no bigger thing to live and die for than your own country (the world, I suppose, but then there's no enemy).

Everybody in the military is incel

However, if you join you'll probably just be made to mop floors and shit on by everyone

As mentalcel I was counted as unvalid for conscription :feelsgah:

Yeah. It was all gigachads bullying incels. Wouldn't recommend.

What branch were you? What was it like for you when you were at the barracks with other military personnel?
Army. I was in training. Completed basic and ait. It was fun, but sucked

Serving your country is cucked
