For you guys don't know the remembrance of earth's past trilogy is about humanity's interaction and competition with a badass advanced race of aliens called the Trisolarans. Humanity is trying to organize itself for the eventual showdown with this race of aliens and the book goes into a lot of human sociology and "cosmic sociology".

I have the audio book of the first book, "The three body problem" and really liked it.

I'm currently on the 2nd one, "The dark forest" and really liking it so far.

The Three Body Problem:
Set against the backdrop of China's Cultural Revolution, a secret military project sends signals into space to establish contact with aliens. An alien civilization on the brink of destruction captures the signal and plans to invade Earth.

The Dark Forest:
Plot. The UN forms the Planetary Defense Council (PDC) to coordinate defensive efforts against the impending assault of the Trisolarans, who have launched a massive invasion fleet that will reach Earth in around 400 years.

Death's End:
Last book in the trilogy and gets into the alien warfare and the aftermath.
