Not that I can get one but I'm noticing the people who are there more often are ones who are there in pairs, is this the key to long term success there if you're prone to losing motivation due to lack of results?
 
you see these people more often because they are there for longer periods of time (they waste a lot of time talking)

key to gym motivation is keeping track

buy a small booklet and a pen and track your reps + your weight

increase your weight when you reached your rep goal
 
nah you just need to actually see good progress, that would be the best motivation.

Didn't digest this part initially. I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to have a gym pal to motivate you. Their presence alone would push you to strive for greater results, as is the competitive nature of male friendship. Any tips or tricks regarding muscle gain, exercise selection and whatnot can be found online, though a different experience to a friend. When alone, you have to be objective and analytical regarding your training - if you still aren't getting the desired results, either call it quits and go down another path or revaluate your goals.

Yes, a friend with the same goals as you is the best lifehack and motivation a person can have. If any one of you is feeling down, you will not want to abandon your friend and will force yourself to go.

Have gymceling for about a year now. Went from 49kg(108lb) to 64kg(141lb) with creatine+protein supplement. I barely reached acceptable BMI at my height 180cm.

I stopped gaining weight after that no matter how hard I trained and focused on my diet. So I stopped taking any supplements 2 months ago.

I lost 6kg(13lb) and currently weigh around 58-59 kg(127lb) and became underweight again.

I lost all my motivation. I only go to gym 1-2 a week now.

We can't overcome genetic obstacles no matter how hard we try.

Despite being skinny to the point looking like malnourished, I still had skinny fat body(typical currycel trait).

I have really narrow shoulders,really small rib cage for my height and really skinny legs. What's worse is that my left shoulder is visibly longer than my right one making my body assymetrical
 
they probably encourage each others when going to the gym but if you're going to train with somebody you should alaways choose someone you height unless you want to be mogged everyday by him like a lil bitch
even the equipment you and him are going to use won't fit both of you, try to find someone who's ugly and short
