I don't believe in the concept of possessions anyway, your parents don't own you. Your mom doesn't own you even if you were inside your body and you're from there, you're still not HER CHILD, you're just you.
You don't belong anywhere either. People usually say someone belongs somewhere if they're mad at them. Honestly it's not a rational saying and while you want someone to belong somewhere, that's not always the case.
