Try wrapping them with stretch-cling stuff. There are wrist exercises you can do.

Probably a mixture of work-related stuff and typing/internet. Will look into the stretch-cling stuff.

I know a lot of people (online) who type a lot and they are just fine.

It's only a problem when you're doing an activity which forces you to extend your physical limits, like playing rhythm games which require many clicks per second(osu!, Stepmania, Robeats, BMS, LR2 .e.t.c.).
