who was the first person that mentioned it?

i remember 1st year of college my snoring roommates were complaining that i was snoring.

i think they were lying to me, because i have problems with falling asleep and whenever i feel that there is some sound coming out of my mouth (laughing, groaning, snoring) i immediately wake up.
