He's been making a lot of weird and bad decisions lately but still twitter retards are too addicted to the site so they just complain about Elon while still using the site. I was hoping that slowly they would migrate to some obscure site and that pathetic social media would die but doesn't seem to be happening.

Tbh I think that unless he puts even more basic stuff behind a paywall Twitter will never die. It's too big. Tumblr even after the porn ban still hasn't died and has activity nowadays. I hate twitter if it disappeared it would be good for humanity.

Happened when Tumblr banned porn, they migrated to twitter which is the only big social media which allows porn. And still tumblr didn't die after that even if they lost a huge chunk of their users.

But if twitter bans porn I don't know where they are going to go. And porn probably gives twitter a lot of revenue so I doubt Elon would be so stupid to ban it.

Im so glad someone knew Tumblr used to be good for porn.

Twitter was almost never profitable. It's two worst years were 2013 where it had a net loss of ~700 million and 2020 where it operated under a net loss of 1.1 billion dollars. No clue if what elon is doing will work out, but the wave of backlash is not rooted in twitter failing or succeeding as a business. Instead, it is about a) some changes being made that inconvinience users and b) MSM looking for any reason to write hit pieces on a hated ideological enemy.
