"Marital rape" is one of the most stupid, absurd oxymoron of the modern verbiage.

Expecting a man to live and sleep with a woman day after day without fucking her is as nonsensical as laying ice cubes on burning sand and demanding they don't melt.

It is the definition of psychological torture and basic need deprivation. Because such cruelty is inflicted upon men, modern society applause and consider it business as usual.

Now, notice how God designed the female not only to be physically weaker, but in such a way that she can be coerced to have sex and even to conceive.

Female arousal or consent isn't necessary for intercourse or conception. Male erection and orgasm, on the other hand, are required.

This is not because of "Evolution".

The Creator designed it like that on purpose.

Trying to explain the very concept of "marital rape" to anyone, even 100 years ago, would have gotten you a ticket to the closest asylum.

As a religious cel, allow me to state a couple of facts :

1. In old school catholic cathechisms, refusing conjugal duty is considered a mortal sin. That means that refusing intercourse to your husband (or wife, but that never happens) will send you to hell

2. St Thomas Aquinas, in the Summa Theologica, explains the 2 main reasons why rape is wrong. The first reason is because it strips the father of his honour, the second reason, because it strips the husband of his property. There's also something related to the girl's virginity, but I forgot what it was about.

Let that sink in.

That being said, in our society, it works differently :
1. Women demand to be married for status and security
2. They can then live comfortable lives financed by a beta buxer, while having fun on the side
3. If she's tired of giving him sex every 5 months, or of seeing his ugly face every day when he's not at work, she can demand a divorce, in which case she'll keep the house and the income, but will be free of the insufferable presence of the beta male.
