I'm so sick of this stupid shit. Why do we have to post on Instagram daily just to prove that we are not "dead" and even if we are "dead" no one will care anyway.

It's insulting to post a story reel and get 0-2 likes at most. I don't care about the likes but is this literal over socialization

Hence, I post the lowest effort shit becsaue a simple happy new year msg gets as much likes as I do with pics with normies anyway. I would take a.photo of whatever is in the immediate vision of mine and then write a msg onto it like "busy day" or some shieet

I don't meant literal daily, but maybe weekly. But even then, it's so exhausting to browse the stories and doing a lip service to others. As in, liking stories, because they do the same to me (kind of a custom here I think but I'm not sure).

I haven't heard of this either. I've heard various strategies like that if you mean to keep up a relevant brand on Instagram, but normal people aren't obligated to do that.

It's like YouTube. Consistency matters if you're trying to have a successful channel from a business perspective, but outside of that you can do whatever you want.
