Today flew by like it was nothing... I had a lot of coffee in me which made the long gaming session possible. Or else I would have fallen asleep after 1.5 to 2hrs of playing...

Its not a bad cope but its not a great cope either.

In the summer of 2020 during covid, I played for 12+ hours straight daily for several weeks.

With MMORPGs and coffee, thats easy.

WoW. I was leveling an alt character.

If it was my main which is already close to max gear level, I would have just stopped gaming after the 2nd hour.

I used to play Diablo 1 for 24+ hours in one session until passing out, for my brother that was normal everyday thing to play mmos for 16+ hours.
