Why zero EE country is a contributor to EU budget after being many years in the said EU?
Literally, zero country from EE. Not even Slovenia - the most safest and prosperous.

Because Poles go to Germany or UK (before Brexit) to get rich doing blue collar jobs the locals don't want to do then buy a mansion and retire in Poland Romanians do the same tbh I've observed this phenomena in Spain where we got lots of Romanian immigrants in the 2000s.

As others have elaborated on somewhat, their already terrible demographics were compounded by the Visa-free EU regulations which allowed hundreds of thousands to emigrate elsewhere in Europe. There is nearly 3,000,000 Poles in Germany alone and nearly 2,000,000 Romanians.

If this was not so, I doubt their populations would be declining so rapidly.

In fact, on the contrary, unlike what the media tells us, demographic decline (at least for the next few decades) would be a good thing, as the labour pool would contract, house prices would fall, wages would rise and more economic activity generated. All the arguments for mass immigration to prevent demographic collapse are stupid for this reason.
