I was born in 2000s so i didnt have a chance to live a life freely, without internet. I feel like internet negatively affects my brain. Im a slave of internet. You cant even not use it these days, because all work conversations are now in internet, you have to check mails, have to pay taxes through internet, and at the same time, your phone ALWAYS spies on you.

I cant even imagine how good it must have been to live in the 80s, when there was no internet and no cellphones. Nobody could bother you after the work day ended. You were FREE.

Also, i noticed that life becomes very boring and i become depressed when i use internet, but in modern world, its impossible not to use it.

I hope so much that internet will be fully shut down. Im trying to create an earthquake with my willpower right now that will destroy the underwater internet cables.

I wish I got into it sooner. Throughout highschool I never even bothered to fully investigate 4chan or Kiwifarms. If only I read more during my youth I would have excelled in school. It doesn't matter now anyway, I'll just NEET.

For me, the internet helped me to go through the hard times in childhood, because I was able to cope and forget about all problems at least for a moment by watching Youtube or playing some video games. But at the other hand, yeah it definitely destroyed my dopamine system so that could be a good reason to prefer being born earlier I guess

Growing up as sub5 without internet would be a serious reason to end your life. Back then when you were sub5 with no social circle, all you could do was watch TV and maybe read books. At least with the internet and forums like these i know i'm not alone and we can share each other our life experiences

making accounts on sites, discovering youtube, learning to code in java and making games using the unity engine felt like discovering magic, flash games, minecraft, etc.
