the "instant gratification" prevent people from finding other long term ways of feeling pleasure, they basically destroy your natural abilty to feel good because your brain will be stimulated only by "drinking something" or "smoking something" to produce the right chems.

The biggest issue with Weed is manipulative drug dealers who coerce or trick you into buying or smoking more than you intended to.
It's a low rung, foothold for drug dealers to get on the dealer's ladder and for users to become tricked into being dependent addicts. People forget Weed is a psychologically addictive drug in itself.
My best times on weed was when an overprotective, older sister bought it for me to stop dealers targeting her younger brother.
I'd make a £10-£20 batch last MONTHS, keep it in a Jack Daniels tin and smoke it straight through a hash pipe.
I'd play vidya, jerk to porn or listen to rock or dance music while high.
I'm against legalisation though as it stinks of fucking shit when too much is smoked in a built up area. Imagine the smell of dog shit with body odor and herbs.

Physically weed it's less devastating than alcohol, especially if vaped. But mentally it can do some shit to you, especially if you are predisposed to schizophrenia.
Vaping is just as bad if not worse than smoking, look at recent studies. I think alcohol has a history of being a social drug so its fine, but weed is seen as teenager smoking playing vidya and wasting his life.
