is root canal super painful?

i got a root canal just 3 days ago and never felt a single thing.
the smell is bad obviously, it smells like burned skin but no pain, just a tickle

Around a decade ago, all my teeth, especially the molars were rotten with pus leaking out from my gums. I had to fix them one by one because the pain was getting unbearable. I lost some.

Why wouldnt you just get implants at that point? Insurance probably would’ve cover it because thats not cosmetic.

All these root canal treatments were from around 2008 to 2018 and were covered by my insurance. My insurance doesn't cover implants. I was rottmaxxing at that time too and didn't care about anything *unless the pain was unbearable. I brush my teeth since 2018 daily and have not needed a root canal treatment since then.

it's an infected pulp, my tooth enamel was healthy. But how asymmetrical my left side teeth was aligned, the bacteria just slid under it causing it to swollen my gums. Was one of the most longest and head-ache inducing tooth ache I've got.

I had one as a kid,Was probably the only time I’ve every been high In my life. When they stuck a needle into my tooth it hurt like hell for a few seconds, besides that there wasn’t much pain.
