Have you noticed how hard it is to be special nowadays?

Centuries ago, nearly all individuals were known for something: the musician of the village, the craftsperson of the village, the athlete of the village, the prettiest face of the village, and so on.

Now you just open your social media and see thousands of people who are better than you at anything you had an inclination to. How can you even compete?

You dress appropriately and rock a nice haircut as an average guy just so you can get humiliated by the good-looking kid on TikTok. And all the average girls are into him, too.

This level of competition is unhealthy.
