They see everything as some kind of personal attack, to the point where they will end a relationship over a minor disagreement. In her mind, the very fact that this guy defended such a relationship means that he'd prefer a 19 year old foid over her, which means he "doesn't love her" or some bullshit. That's a common thing that foids do, they ask their boyfriend/husband for his opinion only to start screeching at him if he says the "wrong" thing. They consider it their way of testing whether or not a guy is worthy of them. (While also training him into being a cuck with no backbone)
The fact that she received "loads of support" is even worse, since it shows that you can be an emotionally abusive cunt and STILL receive praise all because you have a hole between your legs.
