People calling this a primarily racial incident where the woman is not being charged because she is white are missing the point or deliberately avoiding it.

Police in general have a huge problem with pro-female, anti-male bias and hostility against males, and it affects even how they view and treat people that commit crimes, depending on the gender of the person that committed the crime.
