I listened a few times to slowish musuc and metal (possibly slipknot?) where they replaced drums with sounds from a foundry and including occasional sawing sounds.
I always assumed that to be of the industrial music genre, but when I search for industrial on utube stuff is far to rounded and electronic lacking the earrapey raw roughnessand strength.
Anyidea what to look for?
