How are you this morning?" to a bunch of people they can't stand, pacing towards their cubicle while mentally coaching themselves to stay strong and try to get through the day, glaring at the clock every 10 minutes anticipating to leave, calculating spreadsheets during their 15 minute lunch break on how to pay their student loan debt, rent and car note this month, having customers and clients yell at them and demean them all for incredibly meager wages, clocking out of work and being met with yet another traffic rush, opening the front door and pouring open a glass of wine, showering while thinking aloud "how'd my life get to this point", arguing with their spouse about how you're too tired to cook, heating up a quick microwavable meal and washing it down with yet another glass of wine hoping that it will ridden them of their sorrows and help ease their stress, plopping down onto bed and scrolling through their social media feed full of trust fund kids who went shopping and spent in one day what they make in a year - and then laying their head down on their pillow in hopes that they will die in their sleep and not have to wake up again to this nightmare they've found their self in all because one day their parents decided to have sex with each other for a couple of minutes and gave birth to them because they "wanted to start a family and felt our purpose in life was to be a parent".
