Blackpill normie makes a video defining "chad bands" and "stacy music" and "incel music"

he also calls phil anselmo of pantera a gigachad @HostileWaters

heres phil anselmo in his mid-20s

View attachment 269250

height: 6'0

no he isn't norwooding, he shaved his head bald. he grew long hair for a while in his late 20s/early 30s

but the vid wasn't that good.

here's incel music: power metal, folk metal, celtic metal, ambient, etc.

chad music: kendrick lamar, j cole, childish gambino, chance the rapper, migos, future, kanye west, eminem, lil yachty, lil uzi vert, trippie reid, ASAP Rocky, lil nas x, drake

stacy music: cardi b, ariana grande, billie eilish (c'mon everyone likes her these days), drake, justin bieber, halsey, doja cat

Normies need to stop using our terminology tbh. They think that being “Chad” has to deal with being alpha instead of how you look

exactly then that would mean that a big muscular guy with a scary ass face is a chad even though he'd scare most foids

what's your opinion on all that remains, killswitch engage and as i lay dying?

I can't help but think of Killswitch Engage without referencing this Jim Carrey speech which some say predicted Metalcore. To skip the autism the "genesis of metalcore joke" is at 0.44.

it seems like now, pantera are hated by some metalheads for inspiring nu metal and metalcore.

Wait? A bunch of retro-baiting zoomers think they have some level of authority, retrospectively commenting on matters that happened before they were even born?

Pantera's prime was 1989-1996 starting with Cowboys from Hell (1990) to Great Southern Trendklll (1996). They were more in line with Roadrunner Records post grunge metal bands like Sepultura, Machine Head, Fear Factory, Metallica (Black Album).

The whole nu-metal landed squarely with Korn and got commercialised by Limp Bizkit via MTV. This was moreso skater culture and nothing to do with Pantera.

Nu metal became mainstream in 1998 with Korn's follow the leader album. I think pantera were liked by many metalheads back in the early-mid 90s because they were the heaviest band when grunge became popular. bands like killswitch engage and all that remains and as i lay dying sound like at the gates and in flames with clean singing choruses. in fact thats what they essentially are, melodeath with clean singing choruses.

After having listened to a bit of the earlier stuff from all that remains and as I lay dying, they’ve put out some pretty decent stuff. Behind Silence and Solitude in particular is a solid album. I am interested to see what all that remains does with Jason Richardson if they make any records with him. I can’t stand killswitch even if I tried, sadly. They lean a bit too close to the cliche 2000s style of metalcore I can’t stand
