Rejection doesn't get easier the more you get rejected, it gets worse. Especially when you've been rejected 50-60 times, it gets much worse everytime you get rejected. Like the first time you get rejected you generally only think about it for a few hours and move on. When it happens the 50th time you just constantly feel awful.

It actually gets worse, as your time on earth slowly dwindles, and EVERY shot keeps missing. You realize there is no hope, there is no time left. The cycle will repeat itself until we die. We just hold on in quiet desperation hoping for salvation, but it won’t come. Only death and taxes
