I use to be an atheist but I’m just agnostic now. Because there could be a god and but no afterlife.

God without an afterlife doesn't make a whole lot of sense, tbhngl. If there is an all-powerful creator of the universe, odds are this creator would create something like a soul to allow His creation to experience His divine power in some kind of afterlife.
Why? He could do it but could also not do it.

It seems cruel to create something that is aware of its own mortality and finite existence, while also giving it the capability to loosely comprehend the infinite.
This is why I love atheism. It's so brutally. Honest, this is the only life you're going to live. And you might as well live the best life. You can unfortunately because of our genetics. It's preventing us from living the life we truly deserve.
