That would be so great!

A drive or program that detects when it is not within the possession of its owner and so erases the data!

I wonder if that exists.

I'm sure there are ways to get an intruder to trip it, but by then they might have realised what's going on.

It would be easier with flash memory as it's silent and doesn't need as much power.

It would be so sneaky though! :hax:

nah your data is always collected and traded as we speak ( without your consent of course )

It's a "delete files older than ###" automatic way to save memory space... Calyx OS
 
I think Microsoft Windows 10 Enterprise software can delete the disk remotely

hmm i understand. u can save your data in google account and when you lost your phone you can erase or lock it. (manually ofc)
for computers, if your hard drive is stolen, you can use bitlocker
