It's because we're the last generation before the downfall of humanity. With declining birthrates all around the world and all these different stuff happening, it's not too crazy to think that this is the beginning of the end for the human race. I really hope—if I don't rope—that I get to see myself and other zoomers grow old and see the declining state of civilization and the dwindling younger generations with our own eyes before only old hags like us remain to populate the understaffed, overworked geriatric homes of this Hideous world (perhaps if we get advanced robots, that wouldn't be a problem).
